The Reality Show…

As I’m trying to go through all of my old video work, and get it uploaded and out of the way, I realized, I haven’t put up my most recent work.

A short time in the past, I worked with a group of really young entrepreneurs as they built a Social Media Marketing group.  You may ask, why the Hell were you there?  Well, they decided that they wanted to create a running documentary of their progress.  “Edutainment” is what we were going for, an educational “Reality” show.

Well, after a few hectic months, we put out 12 very successful episodes, airing Mon-Fri on YouTube, that’s right DAILY, pausing only for a quick trip down to Comic-Con on my and my associate’s part.  When we returned, we were informed that some pretty serious haters had caught wind of the show and it was decided to take it down, and to rethink the show structure.  Well, that just happened to be the end of it.  So 12 shows down, 1 never aired, and some pretty good stuff for a reel, which is why I’m writing this.  I’m very proud of the work that I did in that short time, and I think that the dust has settled enough for me to cut together a reel of some of my favorite parts of the show.

So stay tuned, the 3 of you who even visit my blog (yes you Mom)

– The Bradical

This was a film I worked on several years ago.  I was recommended to help out on this project through my friends Liisa Crume and Danni Rascon, both of whom I have worked with on several other projects, Liisa mostly though.

This was a super fun project, though I wasn’t able to make it to all of the shoot dates.  It was co-written and directed by David Malki !, who, I was supprised to find out, had quite a fanbase.  Most of the other people helping on the film signed up on his website to help and they had never worked on a film before, pretty awesome.

David Malki ! is known for his “Wondermarkcomic strips.  If you haven’t read any, I would definitely take a minute and jump over to his site, you’ll get hooked.  David is also quite active on Twitter, so, when you get to his site, you should follow his Twitter feed as well.

This film was shot as a short in hopes to build interest to fund a feature length film of the same story.

It was shot on the Canon XL2 MiniDV camera.  I was fortunate enough to be asked to be the 1ST AC on the film.
